WHAT IS LEADERBRIDGE?

LeaderBridge® is a comprehensive leadership initiative of the Crimsonbridge Foundation that works together with nonprofit leaders and programs to meet the leadership development interests of leaders of color and of diverse backgrounds in the Greater Washington DC Region.

LeaderBridge curates a collection of leadership experiences specifically for local leaders to come together, learn, meet peers, and find meaning in their leadership experience.

Through leadership development programs and an alumni network, LeaderBridge seeks to build the power and representation of nonprofit leaders who identify as Black, Indigenous, Asian, Hispanic or Latinx, multiracial, and from backgrounds underrepresented in leadership across the Greater Washington DC Region. By listening directly to leaders, we curate programming to meet the requests, interests, and needs of rising, founding, and established nonprofit leaders. LeaderBridge programs offer reduced rates for eligible nonprofit leaders, through support from the Crimsonbridge Foundation and other philanthropic partners.

Moreover, leaders were retained in the nonprofit sector and a third of leaders were promoted since completing a LeaderBridge-affiliated experience.

LEADERBRIDGE TESTIMONIALS

Woldeab, Rafael - Copy.jpg

The first couple of months in my new role felt daunting and I experienced imposter syndrome. However, thanks to the Certificate Program, I learned that some of the challenges I had been facing were challenges that other executive directors 5-10 years into their roles were still facing. I feel more confident now as a result of the Certificate Program."
